VIK SANDHU
Small Business Owner, Father, and Husband.
Vik Sandhu holds a Master’s degree in Nautical Science and was a former Merchant Navy Officer for ten years, gaining first hand experience in leadership, discipline, and global operations. He is married to Preet Sandhu, a United States Air Force veteran, and is a proud father to their son, Teja. Vik and his family reside in Twinsburg, Ohio, where they are deeply rooted in the community.
As a successful small-business owner, Vik has consistently worked to strengthen local economies and create opportunities for others. He previously served as Co-Chair of the Small Business Advisory Committee for Ohio’s 14th Congressional District, where he helped improve operational efficiency and support the growth and success of small businesses across the district.
Vik served as the Fiscal Officer for Richfield Township, where he delivered measurable results for taxpayers. During his tenure, he led the township’s transition from the outdated OTAS accounting system to the Auditor of State–recommended UAN system, improving transparency, accuracy, and fiscal accountability. Through a strategic and disciplined investment approach, he also increased township earnings by up to $70,000 per year by responsibly investing public funds in STAR Ohio, maximizing returns while protecting taxpayer dollars.
Vik Sandhu brings a rare combination of private-sector entrepreneurship and hands-on local government experience. He is committed to applying this same results-driven mindset to public policy—making government more efficient, more affordable, and more accountable—so that future generations can achieve the American Dream.
Vik is running for State Representative in Ohio’s 35th House District. The 35th District includes portions of Geauga, Portage and Summit counties.
